KURT M. VARRICCHIO, ATTORNEY
Kurt has practiced law in California since 2002, representing entrepreneurs, executives, and businesses throughout Southern California and beyond. His practice focuses on business law and litigation, intellectual property protection, corporate formation, construction law, and contract negotiations.
With more than 23 years of legal experience, Kurt has helped clients avoid costly disputes and achieve favorable outcomes at and before trial. His results-driven approach combines practical business insight with sophisticated legal strategy, providing clients the value of an experienced attorney who also understands what it means to run and grow a business.
In addition to his law practice, Kurt is certified by the Major League Baseball Players Association (MLBPA) and serves as President of KVA Sports, LLC, a global athlete representation and sports marketing firm. His background as a business owner and professional sports agent gives him a unique perspective on negotiation, branding, and contract structuring—skills he brings to every client relationship.
Kurt is licensed to practice in all California state courts and in the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Central, and Northern Districts of California. He has also represented clients before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in trademark prosecution and dispute matters, as well as the California Labor Board and the California Employment Development Department.
Beyond his professional practice, Kurt is passionate about mentorship and community impact. A former foster child himself, he authored Behind in the Count: My Journey from Juvenile Delinquent to Baseball Agent (2018), using his story to inspire at-risk teens to overcome adversity and pursue purposeful goals. He continues to speak nationwide, sharing a message of resilience, leadership, and second chances.
