A product of Florida's Foster Care System, Kurt published his memoir, Behind in the Count: My Journey from Juvenile Delinquent to Baseball Agent in June, 2018. Using his book as a platform, Kurt continues to talk with at-risk youth across the country wherein he discusses the importance of developing objectives and pursuing personal and professional goals in light of the challenges these youth face.
